Natalia has been a PhD student at Amsterdam UMC since November 2021, working on developing and improving techniques for quantitative dynamic-enhanced (DCE) MRI. This imaging method helps describe the microvascularisation of tissues and can be used as a biomarker to assess tumour treatment response. Curious learn more? Before her PhD, Natalia earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Mathematics from the Hight School of Economics (Moscow, Russia). She then expanded her expertise into the medical field by completing a Master’s in Medical Imaging at Utrecht University (The Netherlands).
Projects Natalia is working on:
- A correction for modeling radial, spiral, and PROPELLER DCE data: Time-averaged extended Tofts •
- Direct estimation of pharmacokinetic parameters of DCE-MRI from row k-space data with model-based reconstruction
- Uncertainty estimation in pharmacokinetic modelling of DCE-MRI
